I hate that I projected my love into you!
I love you!? Do I love you? I love you!

Right Brain: I love you, and you loved me. In you, I discovered myself, and in me, you seemed to find something missing. I surrendered to this merging, and you welcomed it, allowing me to truly find myself.
Left Brain: Stop hallucinating, I don't love you. I'm just projecting my love onto you. Is it really you that I love? Or have I merely fallen in love with the notion of love itself?
Emotions are contagious, especially between intimate ones. The multimedia installation takes participants on an emotional journey of my love affairs. Hovering on top of their heads, participants will walk under the art piece and see the animated abstract images on the silk screen. The animation will be looping every 2 mins. Made out of over 60 drawings and paintings, the video projects my abstract feelings and fluctuating emotions during a dramatic relationship. All the “you”(你) and “me”(我)written on the silk are washed over with red ink. I then applied heat to make the silk shrink and distort. The projected video was layered on top of the embroidered silk, connecting all the fragmented narratives together.
